isntc Protocol 1.0

The isnt c protocol is built upon two of the founding principles of original World Wide Web; the Hyperlink and the universal ability to View Source Code. By introducing PWYW (Pay What You Want) pricing to the Hyperlink isnt c is able to render the traditional linear hyperlink [1] as non-linear and dynamic [2]. Trust within transactions is then validated by a universal peer-to-peer trust score. Finally, by opening otherwise enclosed source files to the public commons under Creative Commons license isnt c enables open source knowledge + creativity as 'forkable' - in much the same way as all HTML source was viewable upon the early internet which significantly facilitated the era of self-taught and self-propagating web publishing.

The fundamental isnt c stack employs the original HTTP protocol, overlayed with two existing platforms of SendOwl and Trustpilot, under the licensing protocol of Creative Commons 4.0. A static HTML build keeps the entire websites CO2 footprint to an absolute minimum / users right to data autonomy to a maximum, while SendOwl allows for PWYW with significantly minimised administration associated with ecommerce, and Trustpilot mitigates the risk to an audience committing to a financial transaction.

How to implement Protocol in c. 60 secs

1. Acknowledge a CC Licence type for your work(s)
2. Create a 30 day trial account with SendOwl
3. Connect SendOwl to Payment Gateway: Stripe /PayPal /BitPay
4. Upload a Digital Product / set Price at 0.00 [PWYW]
5. Publish the unique SendOwl hyperlink into your www / socials
/6. Create Trustpilot account to associate with www transactions

Web1 Ethos + Web3 Energy

Web1 wasn't actually that bad.

The current energy driving Web3 / crypto space is arguably that of "decentalisation"". The web, as we know it, has been a typical Three Act Play thus far. Act 1 introduced the distributed free-for-all of Web1, Act 2 saw the centralised power in Web2, and now Act 3 - the fight to decentralise the rights and opportunties of the entire internet(s) as driven by Web3.

isnt c is unique in coupling the energy of Web3's "ability to create your own structures and create interesting new configurations about how you might want to frame a publication" [3] with the original declaration of distributed independence found in Web1. Web1, in hindsight, wasn't actually that bad after all - what it lacked in technical ability it more than made up for in inclusivity and an applied spirit of the commons.

What exactly is isntc?

isnt c is a stencil for the commoning of culture.

A useful means to think about isnt c is through the analogy of the Banksy artwork "Laugh Now" unpacked into its three constituent parts of; Original Artworks / Certificate of Authenticity / Stencil. We can think of the art market as the Original Prints, the $ value locked into ownable and tangible objects. The emerging NFT market is obviously best symbolised by the Certificates of Authenticity, which unlike the traditional art market is decoupled from the original NFT artwork allowing it to contain its own unique $ value. What is now left from the equation, the Stencil that created the artwork, has little to no $ value in the current paradigm of cultural exchange (beyond the odd bootleg eBay hawkers). And this is where isnt c positions itself - as a protocol to share the source means of production of cultural assets outside of the enclosed forces of marketisation and within the cultural commons.
